“It contains caffeine, a high concentration of L-theanine and way more antioxidants than regular green tea. Matcha outshines the top antioxidant-rich foods out there.”

How is green tea made into Matcha? : The green tea leaves are steamed and then dried in order for them to grind into fine powder. This is different from regular green tea, where the leaves are infused in water, then removed.

A good quality matcha is bright green and smooth. The quality of leaves impacts the taste. Here we use the most flavorful “Ceremonial Grade” matcha from Kyoto, Japan. This matcha grade brings a raw taste compared to the convectional matcha bringing a pleasant umami taste, and balanced bitterness. When made into a latte, you can taste the rich and creaminess of the matcha making it super smooth to drink.
